Fujitsu P42XTA51 US Review (MRSP $4,999)
Fujitsu Plasmavision P42XTA51 is a great option for a 42-inch plasma screen for quality. This model has a built-in HDTV tuner. Fujitsu also offer the cheaper P42HHA40 US with no HDTV tuner. The unit comes in a silver casing with side mounting speakers. It is not as nice as having a black casing that blends in the image, but still it is an attractive rectangle style.

The skinny of it is that the Fujitsu 42-inch plasma entry is amazing. The picture of the Fujitsu is vibrant and lifelike. I would venture to say it may be more life-like picture than the Panasonic or Pioneer models. The performance of the picture is powered by Fujitsu's advanced video movement-II (AV-II) digital process. The great thing about this plasma is that it is ready when it comes out of the box- no fiddling with adjustments. What makes the Fujitsu Plasmavision P42XTA51 stand out more than the competitors is that the Standard definition viewing is exceptional.
The downside of the Fujitsu 42-inch plasmavision is its premium price. My guess is that the price is indicative of the amazing 3 year warranty Fujitsu offers. Worry-free for three years might be worth the price of purchasing this plasma TV. Fujitsu must be confident in its product to offer a 3 year warranty when the industry standard is 1 year. If you want an outstanding picture and willing to justify the price, the Fujitsu P42XTA51 should be your top choice.
