This is Panasonic's flagship 42” plasma The TH-42PX600U has the following features:

- SD Memory slot with Photo Viewer
- Built-in NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners
- Cable card slot
- HDMI inputs with HDAVI-Control

The screen is surrounded by a thick black border. The black border of the Panasonic TH-42-X600U looks similar to a piano black finish. The titanium colored casing hides the invisible speakers on the unit. This Panasonic plasma TV is due out in spring 2006. Once these models show up in stores, they will be hard to purchase on the spot. As with the 2005 models, you would have to pre-order and wait until the model arrives before it sits in your home.
The Panasonics are known for outstanding picture quality and great detail with different shades of black. If you were to spend some extra money to buy the TH-42PX600U over the TH-42PX60U, you would get the extra PC Input , TV-Guide EPG and a cable card slot. In my personal opinion, the Panasonic TH-42PX600U is a slicker plasma unit esthetically. For the price, it's hard not to like the Panasonic TH-42PX600U. This Panasonic plasma TV has everything you need. It's no wonder why many reviewers and consumers alike, have chosen the Panasonic TH-42PX600U to be a top plasma television.
