This 50” plasma is Panasonic's alternative version of the TH-50PX600U. The TH-50PX60U has the following features:

- 3072 shades of gradation
- Near 29 billion colors
- Integrated NTSC/ATSC/QAM tuners
- HDMI inputs with HDAVI-Control
- SD Memory Card Slot.
The Panasonic TH-50PX60U model has front A/V jacks. Esthetically, the Panasonic TH-50PX60U has a thinner black border than the 50PX600U. It will have the same outstanding picture quality and the detailed black levels that make it stand out from other brands. If you do not need the PC Input or the electronic program guide, you can save some money by buying this model. The extra money saved can buy you some more accessories to the television.
