Samsung HP-T5054 / HP-T5064 Review
Samsung has brought out the next generation plasma TV in the 50-inch series. Both the HP-T5054 and the HP T5064 are quite similar in their specifications. The only noticeable difference is the different bezel shape. The T5054 has a curvature line to spruce up the look of the screen.
The picture quality of Samsung plasma TVs are very good. The colors seem accurate - greens look green and reds look red. Blacks are also very detailed. Amazingly, the standard definition picture is very bearable to watch while the high definition picture is very clear. The few knocks on the Samsung HP-T5054 and HP-65064 are that there is some shudder motion on high speed or action pictures. It seems that it has been talked about in forums and is a known problem. It could be a hit or miss situation or an adjustment option.

Conclusion
If you want value for your dollar and an aesthetically attractive looking unit, then the Samsung HP-T5054 or Samsung HP-T5064 should be on top of your list. Make sure that you do a screening of high action/sports images to see if there are any problems in your view. There have been suggestion of shudder motion problems, but it may be on the eye of the consumer that decides if that is the problem. The Samsung HP-T5054 or Samsung HP-T5064 offer good bang for your buck when it comes to all the features included.
