Hitachi 55DS52 Review
The Hitachi people have outdone themselves with this impressive 55 inch model, the 55DS52. That extra 5” of space compared to the 50” screams “mine is bigger than yours”. This model produces stunning high definition images at 1366 x 768. It will make you jaw drop with everyone else who sees the TV.
This TV comes with 2 HDMI inputs and a 40 Watt stereo system. This unit comes with an HD tuner and is cable card ready. These are impressive specifications indeed.
The Hitachi 55DS52 has an optional power swivel table stand. This option is quite useful in that it enables you to tilt the TV to your liking through a remote control. This option is not needed if you plan to hang it on your wall.
Recommendation
If p rice is not an object to you and you would like extra real estate of 5” on your screen, look no further than the Hitachi 55S52. After seeing the high definition pictures - especially movies and sports- you will realize that there is no way that you can not go wrong with this purchase. The Hitachi 55DS52 comes fully loaded with 40 watt speakers, HD tuner and 2 HDMI connections. Your place will be the hideout for your friends on Sunday to watch football on the big plasma TV screen. Be prepared to spring the cost of the extra refreshments and chips!
